Attention: For faster loading, these logos are all in jpg-format. If you want to have a logo in Fritz/Arena/Shredder you must make a bmp file and give it the same name as the adapter (eg.: WB2UCI.bmp). You can download all the logos here: cmLOGOS.ZIP or save a logo with rightclick:"save as bmp".

Important Note 1: These settings are mainly played in Chessbase GUI's with the WB2UCI-Malin Adapter. So don't try to copy the Adapter-values into Chessmaster. That will not work. It is possible to calculate the values backwards from the Malin-values; but that is very difficult and for some values just not possible. I recommend to use for testing the Malin-Adapter because you can work with values, that are not possible within the Chessmaster 8000-GUI.
Here an Example for the Grailmaster2-Setting:

opp=102 opn=102 opb=105 opr=102 opq=102 myp=102 myn=102 myb=107 myr=102 myq=104 cc=100 mob=110 ks=146 pp=108 pw=126 avd=-4 cfd=0 sop=100 rnd=0 sel=10 md=99 ana=1

Calculated for the Chessmaster-GUI this will something like that:
Attacker/Defender: -4
Strengt of play: 100
Randomness: 0
Max search depth: 99
Selective search: 10 (maybe increase with longer time controls)
Contempt of draw: 0
Material/Position: -3
Control of Center: 103
Mobility: 113
King Safety: 150
Passed Pawns: 111
Pawn Weakness: 130
Own Queen: 9.2
Opposing Queen: 9.0
Own Rook: 5.0
Opp. Rook: 5.0
Own Bishop: 3.2
Opp. Bishop: 3.1
Own Knight: 3.0
Opp. Knight: 3.0
Own Pawn: 1.0
Opp. Pawn: 1.0

However, this values are only approximations because one value for Own Bishop is not fully correct: Translated into Malin-Adapter it will give: myb=108; but the number should be 107. So, in theory you have to set Own Bishop=5.15, but that is impossible. You could reach a number of 107 by setting material/position to -2, but then all other values will change. So, if you want a possible translations within the GUI's, go always from the Chessmaster-Setting to Malin and not the other way around :-)

Note 2:
It is possible, that some values in the WB2UCI-files are not the one, the original authors used. They should be the same, but mistakes can happen. Most of the values were found in different chess-fora or send by other testers.

Note 3:
If you have very good, really competitive settings, you can send them to me by e-mail. I might try them in this tournament.

Note 4:
You can download all the Chessmaster-Logos here(in jpg-format !): cmLOGOS.ZIP (250 kb) Most of this logos are from me (Surak). Not designed by Surak were Chessmaster, Fischer, Hannibal, Torc, Odessa and 8888v4.

Note 5:
You can download all the Chessmaster-Settings here: cmsettings.ZIP (61 kb)
You can't use the jpg-logos. If you want to have a logo in Fritz 7/Arena/Shredder you must make a bmp file and give it the same name as the adapter.

Note 6:
Important changes from CM 8000 to CM 9000:
Chessmaster 9000 (King 3.23) allows additional parameters to be changed compared to the older Chessmaster 8000 (King 3.12d) so you can alter more settings now. In contrast to Chessmaster 8000, the latest version allows you to set separate values for The King's evaluation of it's own safety, mobility, passed pawn and pawn weakness and now another set of values for The King's evaluation of the opponent's King safety, mobility, passed pawn and pawn weakness.
So, the new parameters look like this:

mycc=100 --> My Control of centre
mymob=100 --> My Mobility
myks=100 --> My King safety
mypp=100 --> My Passed pawn
mypw=100 --> My Pawn weakness
opcc=100 --> Opponent's Control of centre
opmob=100 --> Opponent's Mobility
opks=100 --> Opponent's King safety
oppp=100 --> Opponent's Passed pawn
oppw=100 --> Opponet's Pawn weakness

Important: If you use an CM 8000 setting in CM 9000 all values for the opponent are set to the default value=100 !
Furthermore, the maximum selective search value you can use in Chessmaster 9000 has increased to 16 as compared to 12 in Chessmaster 8000. The defaults have also changed from 6 to 9. I recommend to use lower values for Blitz and higher values for longer time-controls --> Bullet: SS6; Blitz (5min): SS8; Rapids (10min): SS10; over 20min: SS12 to SS16 (at Tournament Time Control).

Here a test-tournament with the Grailmaster-Settings at 3m+1s; Chessmaster 8000 GUI:

          1      2      3      4     5      6     7

Note 7:
If you want to change the hash table size for The King you could add:
\ncm_parm tts=hash ttu=n in the WB2UCI.eng or InBetween.ini.
Example:
xboard := xboard\nhard\neasy\npost\nnew\ncm_parm default\ncm_parm tts=33554432 ttu=7 opk=xxxxx
This would give about 32Mb hash size.
Hash settings (tts and ttu)

- Hash=512Kb tts=524288, ttu=1
- Hash=1Mb tts=1048576, ttu=2
